Assessment of construction products
Before your construction products are placed on the market, you need to prove that they meet the applicable regulatory requirements.
What does the CTEC service include?
Depending on whether the products you manufacture meet harmonized standards or national requirements, two ways of assessing can be distinguished.

If you have a harmonized standard entered into force for your product, based on a certification by CTEC Ltd. under Regulation (EU) 305/2011, you can make a declaration of performance and affix the CE marking. The process of certification and affixing CE marking to products proves their compliance with the requirements of harmonized European standards.

If no harmonized standards are in place for your construction product, it is subject to assessment for compliance with national requirements. In case where the product falls under the Order of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, the certification procedure carried out by CTEC Ltd. allows you to issue a declaration of the product characteristics and to place it on the Bulgarian market.

Why choose CTEC?
Since 2007, CTEC has been notified by the European Commission for the assessment of construction products (NB 1871) in accordance with the requirements of Directive 89/106 / EEC, and after its cancellation in 2013 - a body for assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products according to Annex V of Regulation (EU) 305/2011. It is also authorized by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works to carry out conformity assessment of construction products with national requirements. Since 2020, CTEC has been an accredited body according to EN ISO/IEC 17065 for certification of construction products.
